About the Author

Al McOrmond is a Registred Dental Technologist practicing in Ontario, Canada, one of the most stringently regulated juridictions in the world. He has 18 years' experience in the dental technology field and has practiced exclusively orthodontics since 1986. Al operates his own orthodontic specialty laboratory, McO Dental Technology Services, in Whitby, Ontario.
He is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at George Brown College in Toronto. He teaches Orthodontics, Complete and Partial Dentures, Anatomy, Dental Materials, and occasionally Crown and Bridge in the Dental Technology Program.
